As you can see above, we have some fun events planned this month!
On March 17, we have a St. Patrick's Day parade with a complimentary
green beer. Over the past year we've had a lot of parades so it may feel
repetitive, but it is a great (and safe) way to show up for our community.
The joy on the faces of your neighbors as the participating members
wave and say hello is not a moment to be missed. Be sure to sign up
on the website so we can have enough beer to hand out (for good luck,
right?).
At our Tacos and Tailgate event on March 25, our new friends over
at Tap's Tacos will be serving their tasty tacos outside of the Mountain
View Lodge. You can park and eat outside of the Lodge or take your
food home. The plate will consist of three tacos, rice, and beans for
$10. There will be the choice of carne asada (steak), pollo (chicken)
or carnitas (pork). If you would like to donate a meal to a neighbor in
need in the community, please reach out to me and I can have a plate
delivered to their home.
Finally, we have partnered up with 8 Bit Brewing to host an at-home
beer tasting on March 31. Sign up for a night of brews with buds. The
cost is $20 per pair and includes four one-pint beers and an online
meeting with 8 Bit Brewing to discuss what your buds are tasting. All
participants will have their beers delivered to their home.
Our events will be socially distanced; mask wearing is enforced. I
am hopeful and excited to slowly return to our usual events in the near
future.
