8 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | APRIL 2021 By Elizabeth Westbrook After settling into our new homes, it's not surprising that we want to brag about our newfound digs to our brothers and sisters. We prattle on about our outstanding facilities and amenities, numerous activities, groups and clubs, and walking trails. We talk about the friendships and super neighbors we have found. But even while we are gloating, deep down we are thinking how wonderful it would be to have our sibling nearby. How comforting to have a support system that even the friendliest neighbor can't provide. We invite our relatives for a visit so they can see for themselves, in hopes that maybe, just maybe, they will decide to stay. While some residents are still trying to entice their siblings to make Four Seasons their home — including myself — we can still celebrate our familial relationship on April 10, National Sibling Day. For these featured siblings they can do that everyday as they decided to stay connected here in our wonderful community. And, in the end, it really doesn't matter if it was sibling rivalry or sibling love that prompted the initial invitations to visit. Note: Dates are the year residents made Four Seasons their home.
