FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | APRIL 2021 41 As of this writing, we continue to be unable to have our Cinema Club screenings due to COVID. When we are able to resume, we will catch up on the films that have been previously scheduled. Normally, our screenings are the second and fourth Sunday evenings of each month at 6 pm in The Lodge Theater. We typically screen smaller films, foreign films, indie films and documentaries. We will be meeting on the second and fourth Tuesdays, April 13 and 27 at 10:30 am, 2 pm, and 5:30 pm. Since we have all been though a lot this last year let's start with a love affair film like no other. It's something a little different. We will be showing a 1998 movie that won seven Academy Awards: Shakespeare in Love, directed by John Madden. It's a story in which love has no bounds. How many got the answer to last month's James Bond trivia question? "When did James Bond say the phrase "Bond, James Bond?" And when did he say "Shaken, not stirred?" The answer… Both phrases were used first in Dr. No, the first movie in the franchise. This community-wide event is being sponsored by our HOA and supported by your Taste d'Vine Wine Club. The wines will be presented by Heidi Daniels, one of our favorite speakers. Heidi is working with the Rutherford Wine Company in the Napa Valley and has chosen several great wines for our enjoyment. For info, please contact Gracy Luna (951) 292-3624. ~ Gracy Luna Taste d'Vine Italian American Club We are still not able to meet in person during the COVID-19 pandemic but as more and more people in our community and county are vaccinated, the light at the end of the tunnel becomes more reachable. While we cannot meet in person, we are able to enjoy watching programs, such as those suggested last month by Barbara Dipoma with Bobby and Giada in Italy on Discovery+ and Dreaming of Italy on Amazon Prime Video. I have been enjoying Stanley Tucci in Searching for Italy on CNN, and I believe they are available "On Demand" as well. He has been traveling throughout many locations in Italy focusing on one area on each week's program. The program is on Sunday night, and I have been told by a number of our members, that they have enjoyed the program as much as I have.
