The quilt was put together by Vivian Myrdahl and taken to Raising Hope Hillside Gala 2021 and auctioned on Feb. 27. All money raised at this huge virtual bidding is used to help abused children. An email was sent out to watch it. Hope you were able to. Thanks for all your help. We miss everyone and hope we soon return to normal. It is my hope that anyone and everyone who enjoys doing crafts will consider joining our group, once we are back in our groove. Paper crafts, crocheting, jewelry making, rock painting, whatever you love to do, come and do it with us. We are a very social group and have a lot of fun while creating our own masterpieces. We work independently but enjoy swapping ideas with the others working alongside us. It is fun to brainstorm about new endeavors. In addition, it is such a great setting where making new friends is easy and enjoyable. We meet on Mondays from 1 to 3 pm in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. The second Monday of each month is reserved for our birthday lunches to celebrate all those having a birthday that month. We go to various local restaurants to enjoy socializing, not only with those we see at Scrapbooking, but also with several members who we don't see on a weekly basis. Please contact either Elaine Perkins at (951) 334- 3119 or Sallie Flesher (951) 902-9768 if you have any questions about the Scrapbooking group. There is no fee to join. Scrapbooking Happy Easter everyone! Hopefully it won't be too much longer before we are able to meet again. Have you found sewing projects to keep you busy in the meantime? If any of you new residents are interested in joining once we start up again stop by the Arts & Crafts Room on Tuesdays from 12:45 until 2 pm. Since it has been over a year, it will take a bit to figure out where we left off. I know that the local places that we donate our items have been without this past year but we'll do our best to get back on schedule. If you have questions, call Gail Wright at (951) 797-3589.
