We crafters are back in the Multipurpose room, enjoying seeing friends we have not seen for so long. It feels great to be back to what we have loved and missed for such a long time. I hope anyone who has thought about joining our group will consider dropping in to meet us and see what we are all about. We have recently lost a couple of our ladies who have moved away. However, we are happy to say three new gals have joined us. We currently are meeting on Mondays from 1 to 2:30 in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. This may change back to our regular schedule of 1 to 3 pm by the time this article publishes. We hope to soon get back to doing our monthly lunches, where we celebrate all those having a birthday that month. Formerly, this was done the second Monday of the month. We go to various local restaurants and enjoy socializing, not only with those we see at Scrapbooking, but also with several members we don't see on a weekly basis. Even better is that now we can also have our lunches at our own Sun Lakes Restaurant, as they are open seven days a week. That will be so convenient! Please contact either Elaine Perkins at (951) 334-3119 or Sallie Flesher (951) 902-9768 if you have any questions about the Scrapbooking group. There is no fee to join. Scrapbooking Happy Mother's Day! If any new residents are interested in joining once we start up again, stop by the Arts & Crafts Room on Tuesdays from 12:45 until 2 pm. Since it has been over a year, it will take a bit to figure out where we left off. I know that the local places that we donate our items have been without this past year but we'll do our best to get back on schedule. If you have questions, call Gail Wright at (951) 797-3589.
