The Pink Ukuladies & Gents
Last July, our ukulele teacher moved to Florida and we have
been without a director since her departure. Many of our players
have joined the Loma Linda Strummers via Zoom each Tuesday,
however the Pink Ukuladies & Gents have not met as a group for
one year since the pandemic began. Timing is critical since the Administration Office
must know soon whether or not we plan to continue.
Sun Lakes is gradually opening, and we are eager to entertain again with a competent
leader. If anyone with the musical ability and leadership qualities is interested in this

Lakes Does Vegas!" coming this
fall.
Along with so much talent
and hard working people here
in Sun Lakes, we have one
person that seems to exude
talent and that is our George
Meldrum!
George has added to his long
list of talent by not only playing
golf but playing an array of
musical instruments, singing,
and now has added tap dancing to his repertoire.
George says "My little sister took classes and I always wanted to
learn to tap." So for the last two years he has been taking classes with
Jeann Svarvar, Tap Instructor.
He was so good that they both danced in "That's Entertainment"
2020 to a very receptive audience.
If you have been feeling "locked up" for the past year and want to do
something different, try tap dancing!
