| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | MAY 2021 | 11 As I look around our beautiful Four Seasons neighborhood, there is such an obvious sense of pride in home ownership displayed in the appearance of homes and landscaping. I know the HOA has rules that some people feel are unnecessary but just drive around a non- HOA community and you will see the difference. The Landscape Committee oversees the Legends and Common Areas landscaping; we make monthly inspections to ensure the landscaping is held to a high standard. We are very fortunate to have Artistic Maintenance on board as they are diligent, fine workers. When I moved to Hemet 17 years ago, I found that the climate consists of extreme temperatures; therefore it took some experimenting with plant materials to see which could tolerate these conditions. If you want to get some ideas of true and tested plant materials, take a walk in the garden area next to The Lodge. If you haven't ever walked into the garden, take the time to go in there. It is a serene place where you can sit, read and meditate or where we can all meet again in safety. It is an area where you can have a little get together with your friends under the gazebo or at the table and chairs placed in the garden for your use. To share your thoughts with us, pick up a suggestion form at the front desk in The Lodge. The Landscape Committee welcomes all constructive suggestions that residents may have on the Common Areas. Feel free to share your thoughts with us, a suggestions form can be obtained from the front desk at The Lodge. The Landscape Committee meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 1 pm at The Lodge. Residents are welcome to attend. Please check with The Lodge about any restrictions in attending the meeting in person. Landscape Committee Facilities Committee Hoorah! Riverside County has moved into the orange tier as of this writing, which means many of the Four Season's facilities are again accessible at least on a limited basis. Check your emails or ask at the front desk for details. The facilities committee will continue to hold meetings digitally for now, but homeowners can still present their input to the committee using the Resident Communication form available at the front desk of The Lodge. We have been privileged to have volunteers form an Ad Hoc decorating committee to consult with the facilities committee on projects that require decorating decisions. Their first project was to submit suggestions to replace or refurbish the four lounge chairs in the lobby of The Lodge. The chairs are original to the opening of The Lodge and have held up well but are starting to show wear. The Ad Hoc Design Committee's suggestion to reupholster the chairs was approved and we are looking forward to seeing the results soon. May you stay safe and enjoy all the facilities and activities made available to us through Four Seasons at Hemet.
