| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | MAY 2021 | 17 I am pleased to announce that soon we will be able to resume our Ladies Club Activities. We will be moving forward as long as the State and County are in the yellow tier and staying stable to move forward to the next zone. How the meetings will look will be very different. We will be keeping within the CDC guidelines and Lodge guidelines. Our plan is to meet for the first time on Mon., May 24 at 2 pm in the Ballroom. Please take note it will be at 2 pm. We will be limited to approximately 45-50 ladies, and MASKS ARE REQUIRED. If you are interested in joining us, please feel free to call me so we can count how many will be attending and make sure you are properly welcomed at the door so we can introduce you to everyone. Before COVID we had 42 paying members. Welcome back. LET'S HAVE SOME FUN. I would like to personally thank our members and other ladies from the community for their continued support and participation in our philanthropic work with Valley Restart Shelter during these hard times. Our contributions either small or large are so helpful to these families and the shelter. This past month we gathered together to make and distribute 30 Easter Baskets filled with goodies, stuffed animals, and gift cards for McDonalds. Thank you Shirley. Thanks to one member who baked enough cupcakes for all the children and their families, and staff. Thank you Jo Ann. I look forward to seeing you all again and welcome any new members. It's time we get out there and reconnect. ~ Lucille Gould, President, (909) 921-6067. FS Ladies Club Needle Me The light is finally shining through and our group has recently been able to resume meeting at The Lodge again. It's so nice to be able to get together to socialize and see what everyone has been working on. Time for a new beginning, a new craft or refreshing one from long ago. One of our members, Maggie Fussell, is looking for someone to teach very basic knitting steps, and she is pretty sure that she is not alone. Although we are not certified instructors, there are some very talented members of the group who are more than willing to teach the basics to anyone who would like to learn knitting, crocheting, needlepoint or other needlework. So, if you are interested in joining the group or maybe teaching some type of needle crafting, please give us a call or come join us in The Lodge Arts & Crafts Room. We meet on the first and fourth Fridays of the month from 1 to 3 pm. If you have any questions, contact Bobbie Davis at (951) 223-3836 or Maggie Fussell at (951) 388-7640.
