This would mean that we will have our annual Meet & Greet in the Lounge on Monday, May 10, from 5 to 7 pm. This is the perfect time to come down and see what we are all about. We provide the libations and food, and we would love to meet you. We will share with you our plans for our October annual variety show The Colony's Got Talent, Sock it to Me! By Marsha Tobolski, 562-244-9223 The newly-formed Colony Actors Studio is excited to inform all of you about the fun and exciting plans we have discussed, and we want to invite any of you who may be interested to join us in this new adventure! Our Mission Statement: "The Colony Actor's Studio is a group of Colony residents dedicated first and foremost to having fun among friends. We are committed to sharing our individual and collective creative energies in the pursuit of all things related to drama and acting opportunities." Some activities on the drawing board include, but are not limited to, one act plays, improv, virtual and Zoom productions, full length plays, and skits done "reader" style (scripts in hand - no memorizing lines). We are just in the planning stage and welcome all you would-be thespians and those interested in behind-the-scene opportunities to join us. Don't be afraid that you might not have any of these skills. You'd be surprised what you are capable of doing with some help, so come join the fun!
