| THE COLONY NEWS | MAY 2021 | 9 HOA NEWS Presented by The HOA Board of Directors, Vol. 1, Issue 5 POOL PAVILION On April 5, an informational video will be distributed via Colony eBlast as well as on the Colony website www. Thecolonyatcaloakshoa.com. The proposed Pool Pavilion Town Hall Meeting will be held April 13. On April 15 there will be an Executive and General Session Board Meeting. On April 27 is Proposed Pool Pavilion Town Hall Meeting II. On Saturday, May 1, Proposed Pool Pavilion Ballots mailed out. Ballots are to be returned by Tuesday, June 1. POOL PAVILION – NEED TO KNOW All questions that are received will be answered during one of the two Town Hall Meetings. This project will require 794 yes votes in order to proceed. If approved, funding for the proposed project will be comprised of a combination of Equity (surplus from prior years) and Reserves. There will be no special assessment needed to complete this project. No additional staffing is required. The proposed Pool Pavilion can be reserved for various community events and at other times will be available for use without a reservation. You can look forward to new community events such as Meditation Class and Yoga. What's Open Conversations, Communications and Comments: March 30 On March 16, Riverside County has shifted from the state's most restrictive purple tier to the red tier based on decreased COVID-19 spread. This allows for the following amenities to reopen. The Library is open for use seven days a week (without reservation) from 6 am to 10 pm. The Salon is open for use by appointment only. Please call for an appointment at (951) 698-1169. The Fitness Center is open for use seven days a week 6 am to 10 pm by reservation only. Reservations are available by the following method: • On TownSq - Reservations must be made eight hours in advance. • By calling (951) 677-4341 Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 4 pm. • After Hours Message - Reservation will be considered in the order they are received. You will receive a return call and confirmation within four hours of the next business day. Leaving a phone message does not constitute a confirmed reservation. Indoor Fitness Activities in the Clubhouse Auditorium, with reservations available seven days a week, for the following: Aerobics - High/Low Impact, Aerobics - Richard Simmons, Aerobics - Chair, Dance - Clogging, Dance - Line, Dance - Tap, Table Tennis, Tai Chi, Yoga. The Pool Facility is open for use seven days a week (without reservation) as follows: • M-F: 6 to 8 am - Lap Swimming and Personal Exercise • M, W, F: 11:30 am to 10 pm - General Swimming • T, Th: 11 am to 10 pm - General Swimming • Sat., Sun.: 9 am to 10 pm - General Swimming The sport courts are open for use seven days a week as follows: • Sun. - Sat.: 6 am - 10 pm - Tennis • Sun. - Sat.: 6 am - 10 pm - Paddleball • Sun. - Sat.: 6 am - 10 pm - Pickleball Unfortunately, the facilities are limited to resident use only until further notice. No guests are permitted at this time.
