DEMENTIA & ALZHEIMER'S SUPPORT GROUP, Thursday, May 13, 10 am: Presented by Kristi Necochea, this group educates and supports those who are caring for a loved one with a dementia diagnosis. We meet the second Thursday of each month. Attention Colony residents! The Vista Murrieta High School Student Senate is encouraging and participating in a pen pal program this year, and they are hoping to have as many participants in The Colony as possible. The Vista Senators are dedicated to writing and communicating with their pen pals once a week. If you are interested in taking part in this fun program, please contact Kara in the Activities Office. They would love to get to know as many of you as possible! Seeking Pen Pals ZOOM with us! WATER AEROBICS Water Aerobics has begun! Classes are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm and the cost is $3 per class. Maximum class size is 30 participants. Participants will be admitted on a first- come, first-served basis. Face masks are required at all times before and after instruction. Personal fitness equipment will not be stored by the HOA. Lockers in the restrooms will be available. The Colony's annual Community Yard Sale is finally here, so get all your hidden treasures ready to sell! This event is for Colony residents and their guests only. To help congestion at the Main Gate, you may schedule to pick up a guest pass for the Yard Sale at any time with Cindy Irving, our Receptionist. The Board has also authorized residents who have registered for the Yard Sale to park on the street Friday and Saturday, May 21 and 22. You may pick up your special Yard Sale Parking pass with Cindy. All items should be removed from street view no later than Saturday, May 22 at 5 pm. Registration forms may be found outside the Clubhouse entrance or via the eBlast and must be returned to me no later than Monday, May 17. Please be reminded it is everyone's responsibility to protect the health of others and to mitigate the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Please do not participate in this event if you or anyone in your household has a fever or any other symptoms associated with COVID-19. Also, please refrain from coming to the community facilities if you have been around someone who has tested positive until you have passed the 14-day incubation time frame. Please notify our office if you or a household member test positive for COVID-19 and have used the common area facilities.
