| OHCC LIVING | MAY 2021 | 13 Pet Lovers Club President Ellen Kippel is happy to announce she has been informed that, like all other OHCC outdoor facilities, our dog park is open at pre-COVID lockdown levels; however, it is open only to OHCC residents. At this time, guests are not permitted in the dog park. The benches have been replaced and most chairs have been unlocked so they can be moved to more sunny or shaded areas. You should bring your own dog's dish for water because of the giardia potential. Ellen says she has been told that twice per week, the artificial turf is sprayed/washed down with a product recommended by the turf contractor that kills various forms of bacterial and the giardia protozoa. Since not everyone has been vaccinated we strongly recommend that you continue to wear masks and maintain social distancing between owners at the dog park. Pet Lovers Club TAG members are here to offer assistance with computers, tablets, and smart phones as well as other technologies to all OHCC residents. Until the computer room in the Clubhouse becomes available, volunteers can only provide limited support via the phone or Zoom conferencing. We have resident enthusiasts in Genealogy, 3D design/ printing, Windows, Apple, Google, Android, etc. We have people with the experience to help with email, browsers, televisions, sound systems, home automation, WIX and Zoom!
