Fun & Games Mah Jongg Club Oh, Happy Day! We are now able to play Mahjongg. We have some limitations but even those are not stopping us from playing. We play Monday and Thursday from 1 to 3 pm in the Multipurpose Room. If you want to learn how to play, we have written instructions and someone is always available to teach you. You are welcome to come and observe anytime when we are playing. We also have birthday luncheons, holiday parties and other get-togethers throughout the year. The players that have returned are very happy to be back in The Lodge on Tuesday evenings. We've lost some players for different reasons, but with so many new residents in the community, our hope is that we'll soon gain some new Mexican Train enthusiasts. Whether you are an experienced player or would just like to learn something new, please come join us. We play on Tuesday evenings at 6 pm in The Lodge Multipurpose Room. Scrabble The long awaited day is finally here; we are actually back playing at The Lodge again. I know that having to wear a mask isn't exactly everyone's favorite thing to do, but at least we are able to get together and play games with our friends again. The Scrabble group is rather small, but with many new residents in the community, we look forward to having more of our neighbors come join us. The Scrabble group meets on Monday afternoons at 3:30 pm in The Lodge Multipurpose Room, so come check us out and challenge us to a game or two. Bid Whist Club The Bid Whist Social Club meets the first Friday of every month from 2 to 5:30 pm in the Game Room at The Lodge under the following conditions: • Use of the Card Room is limited to 16 participants. • No potluck meals. If you are having a snack like nuts or chips they must be individually packaged- no main bowl for sharing. • Masks must remain on. • Please wash/sanitize your hands. • Do not attend if you are feeling sick. • Club leaders will make sure items are sanitized between games.
