| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JUNE 2021 | 9 For you, it's almost June so I don't know what the weather will be like when you read this, but, right now for me it's an almost-perfect day, weather wise. A lovely 81 degrees, sun shining, slight breeze, what else could I want? I want to be able to say that we have overtaken the next two tiers of the COVID standing and are back to normal; alas, I'm sure that hasn't happened. Why can't it be like commercials or TV programs? A Hallmark movie would have directed the hero into our "needs more business" Bistro and he would miraculously find enough customers overnight to pull the Bistro out of the red column directly into the black, and then everyone would live happily ever after. State Farm advertises that they have great prices — well so does the Bistro! Almond Breeze says it's deliciously, "delicious;" that's only one product; the Bistro has a whole menu of "delicious." Francisco is present at the Bistro at least part of every day; when there is an event going on he's there the whole day and into the late night! You can always depend on him to meet your food needs; just like Stihl tools, you can always depend on them to get their job done too. Unlike our US Postal Department slogan, "neither sleet, nor rain" will keep them from delivering, all businesses are taking a hit with slow delivery of needed products, higher wages, along with gasoline price increases, and we the consumers will have to bear the markup. As my GLAD bag box says, they are strong and durable, and so, we must be also. Why not surprise Dad on June 20? There will be a special meal of prime rib (and probably a fish choice) to celebrate Father's Day; this likely includes a dessert too. As Pirouline cream filled wafers say "Enjoy the magic of the moment," or maybe the whole wonderful day with that great guy! Keep current and watch for (and read) your eblast for information, always! Our Social Club is working diligently on the first 2021 patio party scheduled on Sat., July 3, with food, music, entertainment, dancing, and socializing! Yeah! What a deal! They won't need to have "The Good Witch" cast her happy spell to have everyone show up and have some much needed fun. Tickets will go on sale soon, so be ready. Our American Flag is our symbol of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. So, remember your flags on May 31, Memorial Day, honoring those dearly loved military warriors we have lost.
