| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JUNE 2021 | 21 Cardio & Strength Join us for the Cardio & Strength Class taught by Certified Instructor Shannon Ramsey. This class is the perfect way to work on strength, balance and endurance! We use exercise bands and one, two, or three-pound weights to increase our strength and balance, while simple step routines to perfectly choreographed music help build our cardio endurance. Best part… it's completely modifiable to a chair routine so you can work at your own ability level. Women In Touch (WIT) (Note: WIT Team meetings will continue when the Bistro can accommodate our team.) As many of you know, there is a very special group of ladies here in the community who have bonded together to form the WIT Team. This group of ladies all share a common bond, the loss of the love of their life. This group of ladies meets the first Monday of every month in the Ballroom at 5 pm for dinner and lively conversation. We are your support group and this is your invitation to come join us and be part of the WIT Team here at Four Seasons. Exercise With A Certified Instructor All our exercise classes, offered by Shannon Ramsey, are now "Silver & Fit" and "Optum" certified. That means that if you have one of these programs as a benefit of your supplemental Medicare insurance, you can take these classes for FREE! If you do not have this benefit, you can still take the classes for $3/class or purchase a punch card for $30/10 classes (which can be used on all classes offered). All classes are offered with lower impact and chair options. Come try these classes. Shannon's certifications include AFAA, AEA, SPIN, RIPPED, ZUMBA, Silver Sneakers, Silver & Fit, Optum, and CPR/First Aid. Zumba Gold Come join us for Zumba, Zumba! If you like to dance come have fun with us! Zumba Gold is a great cardio workout designed for our age group and is easy to do. Our Certified Fitness Instructor Shannon Ramsey changes up the routines and music weekly. No prior experience is necessary… it's that easy! A photo from "the good old days." Some of our members have moved to other locations in Hemet or the country, but we want to share this amazing and cheerful team. Masks and social distancing are a requirement in The Lodge. By the way, this class is strength training only. There are 12 exercises to tone legs, arms and torso. We are a very social group. We enjoy this time together and laughter abounds in the class and in the Bistro (coffee break). By the way – WE ARE A FREE CLASS! We meet in The Lodge Ballroom at 8:30 am every Tuesday and Thursday.
