It has been well over a year since we last had an article in
our Colony News. While we don't have enough interest to have
a Summer League, I am pleased to announce that we do have
lots of interest in practice sessions. The Bowlero Bowling Alley
is now open and they are allowing Colony Bowlers a practice
session on Thursdays, starting at 1:00 PM. We have eight lanes
available to us (lanes 23 through 30), and you can bowl as many
games as you wish. Three games is usually the norm, but you
can bowl one or two games as well. The cost is $10.20 for three
games, but may cost more if you were not previously in a league.
We usually have 10 to 15 bowlers at our practice sessions. It's
good fun, and it's nice to meet up with our neighbors and
friends again!
We are planning to have our usual Winter League, which will
start in September and run until May. Please let me know via
email (gigiscrfts@sbcglobal.net) if you wish to bowl with us
then.
