Stanley learned that many parents were being scammed thousands of dollars to try to get their child into the business. So, he got some 100 actors, directors, and producers – over 45 of whom received Oscars, Golden Globe, or Emmy awards – to participate in interviews focusing on the business side of an acting career so the likelihood of being scammed would be significantly diminished. At the same time, Stanley recognized that many adults trying to get into show business also lacked the knowledge and business training to successfully work their way into an acting career. To this end, Stanley created the Actors Journey (for adults). Stanley has produced these programs with 10 hours of taped information for adults and five hours for children. Currently, efforts are underway to make this information available by streaming. On the personal side, Stanley married criminal defense attorney and actress Paula Drake in 2015. Having lived most of his life in Laurel Canyon near Hollywood, he and Paula decided to move to Palm Springs. Regularly passing through the San Gorgonio Pass area, they noticed signs for Four Seasons. For various reasons, they canceled their plans to move to Palm Springs, and looked at a new house they liked here at Four Seasons Beaumont. After a few weeks, they bought a home here. Since being here, Paula became active in the Performing Arts Club. And Stanley spent many hours landscaping his new backyard, almost all of it by his own hard work. Their first winter here was very wet and part of the initial dirt in their yard turned to somewhat deep mud. Stanley had his work cut out for him to fix the problem permanently. He has a lot of handyman experience with tools as well. One of his more artistic endeavors is creating stained-glass windows, using a novel technique that he developed.
