On Feb. 6, the Springdale neighbors gathered together to
wish a fond farewell to Bill Raphael. Those of you who
have been here since the beginning most likely knew Bill or
knew of him. Bill was a resident at Four Seasons for 15
years and loved living here. You may have met Bill walking
his pit bull Sadie who was always by his side, and definitely
his protector. He enjoyed the tight-knit community that he
and the other residents helped create. As a resident, Bill
enjoyed swimming at the pool and eating at the Bistro.
He played bridge for years with a very competitive group.
He volunteered with the Beaumont Police Department
for a number of years and was also a Block Captain in the
Springdale community. He and his new dog, Katie, are now
living near Long Beach with his daughter and son-in-law
and their cat, Katness.
We send best wishes to Bill as he begins a new journey.
