The Pink Ukuladies & Gents
The Pink Ukuladies & Gents were happy to meet in May in the
Main Clubhouse after a long year of isolation. There was a good
turnout of seasoned members, and those who have attended Barry
Thompson's Loma Linda Strummers' Zoom meetings were pleased
to show the membership new techniques they have learned. The group enjoyed the
camaraderie of physically being together. It was fun and exciting with an abundance of
loud laughter.
The group will continue to meet on Tuesdays at 1 pm in the Main Clubhouse and look
forward to a new year of singing and strumming. Diane Bradley, our new pianist, may
consider a position of leadership. The talented Al Morton has become our unofficial leader.
Anyone who enjoys music is welcome to join the group. No musical experience is
necessary; simply come to the meetings and have fun singing and playing. For more

Jeann Svarvar's 9 am class has begun and these ladies are so enthusiastic about their tapping! They have been tapping for many years and
performing as a group in a variety of shows here in Sun Lakes. The "Classy Tappers," as they are known, consist of Peggy Fredrick, Emily
Alvarez, Florence Morck and Darlene Moxon. The ladies agree… "Jeann Svarvar is a wonderful tap teacher."
Classes are $30 per month on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9, 10, and 11 am
(Beginners) at the North Clubhouse.
