We are now able to gather at the Main Golf Pro Shop area for tournaments (photo below) and catch up on friend and family news. COVID restrictions and Sun Lakes restaurant staffing will determine if we will be able to hold the Men's Day Shotgun Start - Beef & Beer Event on Wed., June 16 on the Main Clubhouse Veranda. Further details of this event will be updated closer to their time of occurrence. The only tournament this month is the US Open Tournament 4 Man Pick your Team (2 Best Ball + Score of Pro) on Sat., June 19. We would love to have new residents or recently retired golfers join the Sun Lakes Men's Club. The dues are $70 ($34 goes towards men's club dues and $36 pays for maintaining your S.C.G.A. / GHIN handicap). Membership forms are available in the Main Golf Pro Shop. Men's Golf The Executive Men's Golf Club is open to all male Sun Lakes residents who are interested in golf, fun, and camaraderie. All levels of players (beginners to experienced) are welcome. We meet every Friday morning at the North Clubhouse for shotgun starts. From October through June we meet at 8:30 am for a 9 am tee time and during July through September we meet at 8 am for an 8:30 am tee time. Come join us! Dues for 2021 are only $20. Membership forms are available in the North Pro Shop or on the EMGC website. You can also contact our membership chairman David Amar at (951) 402- 3059. We play the SCGA rated par 60, 3019 yard Executive Course (12 par 3 and six par 4 holes). This is the perfect beginner golf course with water and bunkers on each nine to challenge and develop your short game. We have a tournament on the third Friday of each month to test your skill against other members. Our June tournament is a 2-Man Scramble (Computer Generated) to be held on Fri., June 18. Following the tournament is a catered lunch in the North Clubhouse (contingent upon Riverside County Health Department and HOA restrictions). Executive Men's Golf Club is a proud sponsor of Sun Lakes Charity Week – June 7 – 13, 2021. Saturday Morning Golf Are you still working and looking for a weekend golf option? Are you interested in sharpening your short game skills? Do you enjoy having a relaxed game of golf? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may wish to join our Saturday Morning Golf Group. We play on the Executive Course. Our membership includes men and women with a large range of handicaps. Our members share a love of the game. We have shotgun starts. Most of the year, October through June, the check in time is 8:30 am with a 9 am shotgun. In the summer, July through September, the check in time is 8 am with an 8:30 am shotgun. We hold monthly tournaments, an annual Club Championship competition, and quarterly dinners. Membership application forms are available in the North Pro Shop. Annual dues are only $15.
