4 SOLERA DIAMOND VALLEY | JULY 2021 I joined the Seabreeze family in July 2020 as an Associate Manager, eager to further my career in HOA property management. Prior to Seabreeze, I was an Account Coordinator for a promotional marketing company that serviced casinos anywhere from locations here in Southern California to New York, and even Canada. I have an extensive amount of Customer Service experience under my belt ranging from working in medical offices to being a flight attendant and many things in between. I graduated Chaffey College with an Associates Degree and have started pursuing my Bachelor's Degree in Human & Organizational Communication, focusing mainly on interpersonal communication. I have grown up and spent most of my life in the small town of Norco, California. Growing up in this small town it has become inevitable for me to have a love for animals. I have two dachshunds, Charley, and Mollie, who are my pride and joy. In my free time you will most likely find me at the beach watching the waves or spending time with my family. Throughout the years I have had the opportunity of planning events, anywhere from something smaller and more intimate to renting out a multi-level club on the strip in Las Vegas with a guest list of over one thousand people. Since I've joined the Seabreeze family I have volunteered to assist in the planning and execution of as many events as I possibly could. To highlight a few, in the last year, I have been able to work with a local florist, who was impacted by the pandemic, in delivering flowers all over Southern California for Mother's Day, enjoyed a beautiful day at the park in one of our communities for a doggie event where we played games, contests, activities and tons of fun prizes. I also had the pleasure to recently assist with the Seabreeze luncheon celebrating our 34th Anniversary as a company. All throughout my life, I have pursued all avenues of expressing my creative abilities and truly look forward to putting them into place within the Lifestyles of the Solera Diamond Valley community. I am excited to meet all of you and can't wait to get the ball rolling on some fun new events. By Daniel Mendez, EPAC Chair It's obvious now that we cannot predict and be ready for everything life or Mother Nature can throw at us (I'm referring to COVID-19), but we can be ready for most disasters that require similar preparations. The EPAC Committee will host a class on prepping your house, car, and "bug out bag." We may even have a goodie or two for you to take home as well as some ideas of what you might not have thought of or were putting off. As a 24-year veteran of the Navy and Army, I have been taught to prepare for the worst and hope for the best. On the Committee we also have nurses and volunteers with CERT training (Community Emergency Response Team). You are invited to attend an information class the EPAC Committee is hosting on July 29 at 10 am in the Stonecreek and Broadleaf rooms (aka the Ballroom). Please speak up if you would like to assist in any future training exercises or join the EPAC Committee. We are here to help you. Lifestyle Report By Sam Kendig ARE YOU READY?
