FOOD & BEVERAGE UPDATES: With the opening of the Lounge and Veranda, I wanted to remind members of the hours and menu availability.: Restaurant Service: Open Wednesday – Sunday, 11 am to 7 pm, full menu available. Lounge Service: Open Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, 11 am to 7 pm, full menu available. Friday & Saturday, 11 am to 10 pm, bar menu only after 7 pm. Veranda Service: Open Wednesday – Sunday, 11 am to 3 pm, full menu available. Open Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, 3 to 7 pm, bar menu only. Open Friday & Saturday 7 to 11 pm, bar menu only. Curbside Hours: Wednesday – Sunday, 11:30 am to 6 pm. New phone number: (951) 267-3965. Sandwedge Coffee and Danish Service: Open Wednesday – Sunday, 7 to 11 am, limited menu available. Golf Clinics: Golf Clinics are getting full. Since there is a huge demand, we will look to add more classes. Update on projects Wall Painting: Currently on Hole #4. Brought out a new foreman and crew to help speed the process along. Expected completion date is the end of June. Street Works: RFP's have been returned. Board will review at next Executive Session. Contract award could occur the June 30 Board meeting. Work is expected to be completed by the end of August. Point of Sale System: Targeting September 2021 (website redo, App development, installation, and training). Carlos Carts: We have received complaints about the number of carts outside the facility. Members need to book appointments with Carlos for service. If parts are not available, the cart needs to be stored at the members home, not golf course maintenance. This will help us to clean up area and ensure safe entry and exit to golf course maintenance. Budget Timeline: The Budget draft timeline is complete. The Board has reviewed and finalized the timeline. The document is on the website. Strategic Plan update: The Board is also discussing their short-term and long-term plans. They will also be discussing the presentation to the community. Appointments still needed: Even though we are opening more, we still have some staff shortages. Members are encouraged to make appointments for Administration items like RFID stickers, Planning & Compliance review, and meetings with staff. Remember we do updates to the community with Admin updates and GM coffees on Good Day Sun Lakes. Soon we will also have Board Members providing updates and insights. Take care and stay safe.
