The Summer Tournament is under way with 48 teams. We're back
to using the regular format. The only difference is the referees keep
the score, as they did with the COVID format. Most players seemed
to like the COVID format at first, but soon realized they lost touch
with their team as a whole. So it's back to a more familiar routine!
Looking ahead to the Fall Tournament — it begins the week of
Sept. 7. Entries must be in by Aug. 28. The tournament runs through
the week of Nov. 9, with playoffs the 16th and 17th of November.
If you are new to Sun Lakes and would like to find out what Bocce
Ball is all about, please drop by the courts on the North Side, across
from the North Clubhouse, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday after 5
pm and check us out! Any of the players will be more than happy

Sun Lakes Bridge Group
Thursday Night Bridge
We are a friendly group of bridge players who enjoy playing
every week. We also socialize during the games. We meet every
Monday from 12:30 to 3 pm in the Main Clubhouse Bus Room. For
information call Darleen Moxon at (951) 845-6697. All are welcome.
Thursday Night Bridge at the South Clubhouse is Party Bridge,
which means you're not required to bring a partner. Playing time is
from 6 pm until completed, approximately 9 pm. Seating begins after
5:30 pm. The cost is 50 cents per person. For information, call Russ
