| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | JULY 2021 | 9 Social Committee The Social Committee finally got to do something in our community. On Sat., May 15, 37 brave souls went on a Community Wide Scavenger Hunt! We had 13 teams in cars or golf carts. We gave them the clue sheets and off they went. Their comments were: "Very fun and challenging." "Our team just had a ball being together in the car for three hours!!" "Thanks for all your creativity in a fun outside event." And lastly, "When is the next one?" Maybe again next May? I just learned that there is a Scavenger Hunt Day in May! Congratulations to the winning teams - Annie and Gary Marsalone, Barb and Bob Hughes, Kristine Chilcote and Maggie Coleman, and Cathy Schwartzer's team of Linda Barr, Cheryl Robinson and Lorraine Chueng. Each team got a $25 gift certificate to our Bistro. Thank you to all who participated. As you are reading this, our next event is right around the corner. Our Independence Day celebration is on Sat., July 3! Hope you were able to get a ticket as this is always a great event. Don't forget to decorate your carts for the Golf Cart Club's annual parade in the morning. If you have any ideas for events in 2022, please do not hesitate to let any Social Committee member know. For information contact Mary Swinney at (714) 238-6426. Facilities Committee Hello to all the residents of Four Seasons from the Facilities Committee. With our world getting back to normal, more and more projects will be forthcoming. For our metal perimeter fencing, the Board has approved our recommendation of a staggered maintenance plan. The first phase will begin soon pending material and labor. Exterior Lodge and parking lot pole painting has been delayed until August/September due to the same reasons previously mentioned. A few long term projects, we are continuing our efforts in adding additional safety lighting in dark areas of our community. The Committee received a recent suggestion from a resident asking for additional lighting at the World Cup gate entrance due to darkness. A nighttime investigation by our committee has determined this to be true, therefore additional lighting will be installed. With that being said, if you have a suggestion, you can fill out a suggestion form at The Lodge front desk. Also, any resident is welcome to our meetings, just sign up at The Lodge office. We meet the first and third Wednesday of every month at 9 am. Check with The Lodge front desk for location. As activities open up, we hope to see more and more of our residents. Stay healthy and God Bless.
