The Library committee is excited to share our new labels identifying what is kept where! For me, the most important one is, our Four Seasons Authors sign. We all tend to look eye level, and our designated area for our talent is downward. Hopefully the label will get your attention! This picture shows just one side of our display. I have read all of their books and recommend all authors. You will laugh, and cry, and feel anger. There are even self-help books! Don't know where to start? Pick up The Courage of Others by Jim Hitt. As of now the rules remain the same. Face masks are still required while at The Lodge and library. While you may now sit in there, it is only one person on the couch but you may also use the chairs. Remember, we write our articles a month in advance so rules could change. No food is allowed and the only drinks allowed are those with a secure top to prevent spillage. Our current displayed paperback books are from 2016-2021. Hardbound fiction is displayed from 2012 -2021. Our non-fiction is not displayed using dates. A new library legend has been posted on the easel by the book return box to help you find subjects. We have a nice selection of classics now and our LARGE PRINT books have grown! And, don't forget our audio books. Do remember, magazines are not allowed at this time. I received a call from a resident who has 30 puzzles for sale. They are 1,000 piece puzzles. I am hoping she will put this on our Four Season's bulletin board. I would like to purchase some. We now have shelving for our puzzles, but we need some new ones. Hobby Lobby no longer has coupons and $17.98 is way too much for one puzzle. Reading brings people into your life. Open that book! July is a great month to purchase a book for our library. If you don't see a book that is number one, buy it for us. Books make a great present and that's a great way to thank us for keeping the library beautiful! There's Cameron Books, and Barnes & Noble is still open. Until next month…Cookie Thoughts from Blair; "Some say they get lost in books, but I find myself, again and again, in the pages of a good book. Humanly speaking, there is no greater teacher, no greater therapist, no greater healer of the soul, than a well-stocked library." L. R.
