The Association has purchased a margarita
machine, and based on the sales history,
members appear to be enjoying it. We
have continued to struggle with recruitment and this has delayed
expansion of the service hours in the restaurant and lounge. Our goal
is that by October we should be fully staffed. I will continue to update
the community on our progress. In the meantime with the limited
staff, we will need to continue with limited hours of operation and
will not be able to provide full banquets.
On a positive note, the Board is looking to add more Happy Hour
specials and bringing back the Sunday Brunch. Look for updates on
the website and through email blasts. As a reminder the curbside
phone number changed in June: The new phone number is (951)
267-3965. Curbside hours are Wed. through Sun., 11:30 am to 6 pm.
2022 BUDGET PROCESS
The 2022 Budget process has begun. Our first budget workshop
will be Aug. 16 in the Ballroom. As the Board has stated, we have
seen increased prices for products, services, and labor. This will
have a direct impact on the assessment. The workshops are a good
opportunity to listen to the Board and watch the process.
OTHER UPDATES
The Pavement Management plan call for Roads within Districts 2,
12, 17, 20, 21, 22, 23, and the RV Lot to be addressed in 2021. That
work should begin late August. Roads are the biggest asset of the
Association.
Golf Clinics have been well received. The Director of Golf will
schedule more clinics as demand warrants. If you wish to participate
in a clinic, call the Golf Pro Shop.

Sun Lakes Phone Book. If you are new to Sun Lakes, you are NOT
automatically listed in the Sun Lakes Phone Book. Please fill out the
first page in the phone book and mail it to the address on the page,
