The Dog Owners Group invites YOU to join us!
We are new this year and welcome everyone who loves not only
dogs but other pets as well. We do not charge dues but will gratefully
accept donations. We seek to meet every month with our dogs and
both humans and canines enjoy the social interaction. To join

On June 26, the DOG met at the park on Myrtle Beach Drive to
experience Beach Blanket Bingo! Members received two Bingo
cards and were instructed to drop a small dog goody onto the
numbers they needed to score. It was hilarious and fun as a dog
sometimes landed on wrong numbers, on multiple numbers, or
simply just wanted to ignore the numbers on the ground and play
with their puppy peers. Our winner was Sue Blevins, whose mixed-
breed puppy Junior delivered the numbers she needed to make the
Bingo happen!
Attendees of the Beach Blanket Bingo seemed to enjoy just sitting
in the shade together, visiting, and watching their dogs sniff and
cavort with new friends.
In July, we plan to participate with the Summer Sports program
scheduled in Sun Lakes between July 23 and Aug. 7. Our "sport" will
be a doggy obstacle course. The top three participants will win a
prize. The official game is Sat., July 31 at 10 am. Snacks, doggy treats
and water will be provided. Bring a folding chair if you can.
