The Hemet Police Department is currently looking for volunteers to fulfill a variety of rewarding
assignments that assist the police daily. Volunteers are required to work 16 hours a month, four
hours a week in the assignment of their choice. There is a six week Academy to complete before
you begin. The next Academy will be in September.
If you are interested in joining this fun and mighty team, please submit a completed application
and turn in by Aug. 10. There will be an interview process prior to Academy, along with finger-
printing background check.
Applications are available on the City of Hemet website, under the Police Department's page, or
may be picked up at either the Main Station at 450 E Latham (next to Library) or the Hemet Valley
Mall substation.
Hope you will consider donating some of your time and talents.
