Landscape Committee Work began in June in developing a picnic park along the Highland Springs Trail (photos below). The park, located uphill from Four Seasons Circle will be inside a copse of cottonwood trees. A 20' x 30' pad of decomposed granite will support the six wooden tables. The tables are being relocated from the Potrero Creek trails. This will create a family or neighborhood park that will accommodate large groups or several small groups. Residents will be able to picnic in the park. There are no facilities other than the tables and trash cans. Access will be from Four Seasons Circle. We have openings for interested volunteers. Plant knowledge is not required as we have landscape professionals. What is needed is the desire to walk around the community and report on the status of plant life and any unusual growth. ~ Len Tavernetti Finance Committee At our May meeting, the Financial Statements for April, 2013 were reviewed and reflected the following significant items: Net Income Year-to-Date was $102,270 and total reserves were $3,536,113. The Accounts Receivable (delinquencies) was $70,431. Our total HOA expenses for April (excluding reserve allocations) were $176,029. This was under budget by $40,775. There were two Certificate of Deposit renewals to be reviewed. The Finance Committee also recommended that $ 100,000 be moved from the Union Bank Operational Account for investment by Comerica in a CD. The Front Yard Cost Center expenses for April, 2013 were under the monthly budget by $3,181. There were three Vendor Proposals presented for approval. Wayne Staples reported on the past due accounts. Current owners past due were 14, down from 15 in March. This reduction was due to the collection of the largest account currently on the books, $12,166. Former owners were nine, down from 10 in March. There was no report from the Ad Hoc Water Management Committee. Our next meeting will be July 30, at 1 pm in the Lodge Conference Room. All homeowners are encouraged to attend. ~ Noel Myers 16 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JULY 2013 | community News Architectural Review We welcome the many new homeowners to our community.
