Computer Learning Center for Seniors
Our classes for June were successful
with our students becoming comfortable
with computers. Thanks to all the
students who took the time to attend
and learn along with us.
Our schedule for July will continue
with our Basic/Intermediate class
that covers a broad range of general
computer use. Our Advanced class will
cover 'Configuring your computer for
YOU,' 'Advanced Program Usage – Word
Processing, Spreadsheets, Graphics,'
'Graphics

processing,'
and 'Hardware Installation and
Troubleshooting.'
The Basic class will be held
Wednesdays from 10 am to 12 pm in
the Computer Room. This will also be
a four-week class. Classes will be July 24
to Aug. 14. If you have a laptop computer,
please bring it to class.
The Advanced Class are Wednesdays
from 1 pm to 3 pm in the Computer
Room. This will be a four-week class.

Classes are FREE so you have nothing
to lose. Classes are first-come, firstserve basis. Just show up for the first
session at the designated time and
location. We have limited seating/
computers available, but we will try to
accommodate as many as possible.
Advanced Special Topics: We are
contemplating the introduction of
an 'Advanced Special Topics' evening
seminar to cover various advanced,
special interest topics such as 'Operating
Systems Investigation.' These seminars
would be held in a section of the
Ballroom, open for up to 25 people with
an interactive seminar approach. If you
are interested in this type of learning
please send an e-mail expressing your
desire and any 'special topic' you might
be interested in learning about. You can
also stop by the front desk and ask them
to send an email on your behalf should
you not have email capability. E-mail
