20 | OHCC LIVING | AUGUST 2021 | Welcome to the hot summer nights of August. We have approximately 13 events under the Lanai Canopy on the books and the Clubhouse is stirring with activities. With the lack of group activity during the pandemic, it's taking a bit of time for all of us to feel comfortable in this new role. New residents are asking for more information regarding clubs, classes, and events. Because the golf course is closed, we are not planning our annual "Concert on the Green." The next large gathering will be the Flea Market on Sat., Sept. 18. Sign-ups for a seller's table will begin this month. With our desire to keep everyone informed, please take notice of the pool rules found within. We are experiencing a surge of users that are not familiar with some of them. Usage is at an all-time high, during the summer months, and there have been changes made over the last few years. Scheduled hours of classes, lap times, water volleyball, and maintenance times are posted on the website, at the pool, and copies are available at the Front Desk. Most importantly, please swim with a smile and treat everyone with courtesy and respect. See you all somewhere in the Clubhouse. So, what did the softball glove say to the ball? "Catch ya later!" It is our hope that we get back in full swing, very soon!
