Woodchucks
Our monthly Woodchuck article usually features the toys created
by our master toy builders for the kids of Camp Pendleton. We honor
those creations, but we are also proud of the woodworking projects
built by our fellow Woodchucks for their own pleasure. To turn
hunks of wood into gifts, to volunteer for community endeavors, or
to please loved ones with our projects… it's all good!
In one photo, we show a display cabinet located in the Woodshop,
exhibiting the many talents of our members. Featured in our article
this month are two art piece photos. One by Woodchuck Ernie
Pick is installed at the Solana Beach Tide Park entrance. The other
is by Woodchuck Larry Bowers who has donated many whimsical
birdhouses over the years for the auction fundraisers at the Buena
Vista Audubon Society.
Get ready for the 2021 Flea Market on September 18th! Start
planning what to sell at your table in the Clubhouse.
Join the Woodchucks, and you too can experience the joy of taking
wood scraps and sawdust away from a board… leaving a small
miracle! Bring out your inner woodchuck.
