WHAT IS AV?
Have you ever wondered how all these
shows and lectures get on channel 1960 or
the website Live Stream? It's up to our AV
volunteers.
AV (Audio/Visual Committee) is a
Standing Committee of the Master Board. It
is not a club. We exist to provide Audio Visual
services (audio, video, lighting, live and
on-demand streaming and broadcasting)
whenever possible, to the Master Association,
its Standing Committees, and the Recreation
Department. This service can be provided
only if there are trained Audio Visual
volunteers who are available. Training is
provided in all threee areas:

Want to be part of this team that has so
much fun? Training will begin in a few months

Lighting: Learn all about controlling the many light fixtures, colors and intensity, to
create the right ambiance for any given event.
Audio: Learn about the microphone placement and show setups. If interested, you can
also learn to use our Audio Mixer Board, an advanced version of the amplifier setups you
may have used in your garage band.
Video: Learn how to frame your shot, following moving subjects in order to give your
audience a great experience, as if they were there in person.
