Bet you didn't know our community was filled with famous
women from the past. As they introduced themselves at our July
26 meeting, the ladies were asked to choose a famous person
from the past that they would like to be. We had movie stars,
explorers, sports figures, authors and more. Come join us at
one of our upcoming meetings and get to know these dynamic
women.
Anita Decker lead a group of garden lovers to Waterwise
Nursery in July. We learned so much about succulents and cactus.
The grounds are expansive and beautifully designed. Then we
headed over to Rainbow Oaks Restaurant for a delicious lunch.
Patsy Racine stumped us all with a great trivia game at this
meeting. The game was to list as many items you could think of
that were created by MISTAKE. There were at least 12 items on
her list but the most any of us listed were three, the Slinky Toy,
Silly Putty, champagne and the ice cream cone were the ones we
came up with. We keep learning…
The details for several upcoming events and activities are
being ironed out. Look forward to a wine, cheese and chocolate
party, a visit to Kimberly Mansion, a games and cool treats
meeting, and more.
