6 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | SEPTEMBER 2021 |
Welcome fall! As of this writing (early August), even more
excessively hot weather is expected. Mid September to October
would be an appropriate time to resume your landscape trimming.
Routine Fall maintenance items include weeding, checking and
cleaning debris from gutters, refreshing the sand in your artifical
turf (yes artifical turf does require maintenance), trimming back
vines and any plant material that blocks air flow around your air
conditioning unit, checking patio furniture for sun damage, wear
or deterioration including any patio umbrellas, and restaining any
wood fences that have faded or are water stained.
Have you accumulated excessive yard tchotchkes? We can love
our gnomes, angels, forest animals, and flamingos, etc., but the
appropriate location for such individual expression would be in your
private rear yard and patio areas. Our Community Architectural
Standards and Regulations do limit the number of yard ornaments
(including in our front yards, on our window ledges, and attached
to the front of our homes) to a maximum of three items. If your
collections have been growing, remember to enjoy the bulk of your
collection in your private yard areas.
Do not do work to your property without required approvals.
The only correct source to answer any questions is your Architectural
Assistant, Maria Donti. IF IN DOUBT, ASK. You can make an
appointment to speak with Maria at The Lodge at (951) 325-8188 or

Thank you for helping us keep our Four Seasons community safe,
quiet, and beautiful.
