| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | SEPTEMBER 2021 | 7 Yay! September is the month associated with sapphires and asters, and Labor Day is upon us. The grands and great-grands enjoyed the pool but are pretty much back in school and we all have a feel of things being more back to normal. Our June and July Sunday Brunches, as well as the Friday night specials have gotten the old regulars re-acquainted and some of our new residents becoming regulars at the Bistro again! We welcome you all! Thank you! Francisco will be offering a special meal for the MOTOWN Dance on Sept. 7. I hope you have purchased your ticket and have ordered your food. As of this writing I don't know what the special will be. We also have two celebrations of life this month on Sept. 18 and 25. A time to reflect on lost loves and wonderful memories, handled by our very efficient Sunshine Ladies. We also have a "Margarita Night" booked on Oct. 16 for a pre-Car Show gathering. A fun get-together, and a chance to see a few of the cars you will be viewing at the BIG Car Show come spring. Francisco will serve a plate of enchiladas, beans and rice. A truck vendor will do grilled cheese, while our Social Club Ladies will be in charge of those delicious margaritas. Hey, sounds like a Car Fiesta to me! Hooray, we have two lucky JULY winners for the first drawing of the "Bistro's Free Sunday Brunch" for two. George and Fran Hayner were the names on the winning coupon that was drawn on July 28 by BOD member Fred Kidd. The Hayners were kind enough to meet me for a photo (above). Allow me to impress upon you the rules of this monthly drawing! 1. Only the current month's coupon can be used. The month is printed on the coupon and that's the only month it is good. 2. Only one entry per household, per month, because we just throw out any extras anyway! 3. It's not mandatory to have your picture taken, but it is a good chance to show the other residents how lucky you were to win two free Sunday Brunches! 4. I ask you — where else can you have juice, coffee, an omelet of your choice, sausage, bacon, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, Eggs Benedict, enchiladas, beans, fruits, a variety of desserts and Prime Rib carved for you? One price of $15 (includes $1.25 sales tax); it DOES NOT include a tip, so please don't overlook, that! At most places the juice and coffee would be $6 and NOT include a dessert or prime rib! Such a deal! 5. The winning ticket will be drawn by a member of the Board of Directors at their monthly meeting on the fourth Wednesday of each month. 6. The gift certificate expires three months from date of issue, expiration date is also on the certificate.
