The Sun Lakes Summer Games were held from July 23 until Aug. 6
to coincide with the Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan.
The Awards Ceremony to present Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals
was held on Aug. 7 and 550 medals were awarded.
The following clubs and groups participated along with three Non-
Club Events sponsored by the Recreation Department.
Non-Club Events sponsored by the Recreation Department included
swimming, relay race, and corn hole toss.
Entertainment at the ceremony included Sheila James singing the
Star Spangled Banner and God Bless America. Dancers included The
Stardust Dancers, The Belly Dance Group of the International Dancers
of Sun Lakes and Mukua Hula. The day's emcee was Dix Henneke.
