The Dog Owners Group invites YOU to join in the fun! We are new this year
and welcome everyone who loves not only dogs, but other pets as well. We do
not charge membership or activity fees, but will gratefully accept donations
at our events. We meet each month with our dogs, and both humans and
canines enjoy the social interaction. To join and receive our monthly

July was the month of summer games and we had the games made for our
canine family. At the obstacle course, they started by jumping over a series
of hurdles, then back and forth through the cones, next the figure 8 (this one
was foreign to non-ice skaters). The "ring of fire," or hula hoop, challenged
many a pup, but they braved it through. They toured the tunnel of love then
braved the high wire. Gold and bronze medals
were presented to our winners. Gold to Barbara
Elness and Ruby, Gold to Sue Blevins and
Junior, and Bronze to our newcomers, Doris
Welch and Alfie. It was hilarious and fun for all.
A loud ruckus could be heard all through the
community as we cheered with encouragement
for all the pups!
We are planning a trip this month to a local
dog park for an hour of off-leash fun. Snacks
will be provided for all. Bring your Frisbee or
pup toys to play with and share. Yes, Parker, I
