All Seasons RV It is September and we are all looking forward to some cooler weather and the arrival of autumn. We had our first RV Club meeting in over a year in July and it was fabulous to see everyone. The meeting went well with the unanimous decision to keep Bob Cooper, Larry Zimmerman and Ann Williams in their respect positions. Two new committees were formed: one for recommending future campouts and one for the yearly Christmas Party. No future club trips have been decided for the remainder of this year. We are anxious to get back on track in 2022. A few of our members have been able to get on the road. The most recent trip was to Nashville. This is a fun trip as Nashville and the surrounding area offer a lot of fun activities. Our next meeting is Thursday, Sept. 23 at 6 pm in The Lodge. Looking forward to seeing you there. ~ Ann Williams, annwilymz@yahoo.com 64 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | SEPTEMBER 2021 As promised last month, here is the report of our first tournament for 2021, along with the pictures of all the winners and participants. We began with our singles event in which the winners were: 1st Place was the 'unbeaten' Gary Christie and 2nd Place was Dave Thomason. Then the following week was our doubles tournament in which the winners were: 1st Place was taken by the team of Harry Henderson and Ron Erickson, with Paul Plamondon and Dave Roldan taking 2nd place. So, those tournaments were most enjoyable with a lot of competitive spirit and camaraderie. I'm looking forward to our next one which is tentatively scheduled for November. We've recently had a new participant join us with some "long ago" talent. All I can say is, you should be leery of that kind of talent because his last shoe thrown on his first day was a ringer. I love his closing comment, "Now this is a fun group." So, all you "long ago" talented folks, or folks with "no" talent, come out and join us. Like the man said, "Now this is a fun group." We play Wednesdays at 8 am at The Summit in the shade of our "thank you, God" tree. Our contacts are Ron Erickson at (951) 846-3288, rejlerickson@sbcglobal.net or Gary Christie at (951) 845-0520, goldtoy@earthlink.net. ~ Ron Erickson Horseshoe Club Nashville at night as seen from a River Boat An unexpected snow storm hit as we traveled from Nashville to Memphis The famous Blue Bird Cafe in Nashville 1st place Singles — Gary Christie (left) and 2nd place — Dave Thomason (right) 1st place Doubles — Harry Henderson (left) and Ron Erickson (right) 2nd place Doubles — Dave Roldan (left) and Paul Plamondon (right)
