Hearing assist devices will be provided upon request. There will be a limited number of tables provided as well as comfortable chair seating. Feel free to bring your snacks and drinks from home; popcorn will be provided. Doors to the Auditorium will open one hour before the show. Saving seats before 5:30 pm is not permitted. After seeing himself reflected in the children of an orphanage during the Great Depression, a high school football coach gives up his coveted position to take on a bigger task: making something of these kids. For reasons unknown, the scrawny orphans pull on the heartstrings of this coach with a mysterious past. Winning over the hearts of the nation, this coach takes these boys from playing barefoot without a real football all the way to the State Championships. AT ETERNITY'S GATES Sunday, Sept. 12. (2021) Anthony Ramos, Corey Hawkins, Leslie Grace, Melissa Barrera, Lin-Manuel Miranda. Usnavi, a Dominican bodega owner in the Washington Heights neighborhood of New York City, longs for a nearby salon worker and fantasizes about a lavish return to the beaches of his homeland. Usnavi's childhood friend, Nina, a local success story, is back from her first year in college harboring a secret. Over the course of three days and, through song, the residents of The Heights come together to move forward with a renewed sense of what it means to call a place "home." HERE TODAY Wednesday, Sept. 22. (2021) Billy Crystal, Tiffany Haddish, Penn Badgley, Laura Benanti. Emma Payge is a black New York street singer who wins a contest to have lunch with an elderly white comedy writer named Charlie Burnz. Although she doesn't even know who he is because there is a big generation gap between them, she decides to go on and accept her prize. Their lunch meeting gets off to an awkward start and many hilarious moments ensue, but they eventually learn more about each other. They end up forming a deep connection that proves that real friendship has nothing to do with age, which is what their new bond teaches them as they continue to grow closer. A comedy-drama film.
