August and September kicked off
karaoke in style for 2021. To those of you
who came out and joined in, thank you,
as the nights were filled with fun, food,
friendship, and of course, singing. The
potluck is returning (yay!) so those who
wish to join us, the Arts & Crafts Room will
available for us to use. As before, if you'd like,
you can certainly bring snacks and food to enjoy at
your table.
For the Oct. 15 karaoke night, we are hosting a "howling" special
event.
All things fall and Halloween! Find your favorite Halloween tune
or something to sing about regarding fall (even falling in love) and
you're set for the mic. There will be prizes for the BEST Halloween
costume and the BEST carved, painted, or decorated pumpkin. THE
POTLUCK… well, stir in 1 tablespoon of magic potion, throw in the
eyes of a bat, and maybe 1 cup of vampire
blood and bring your favorite "ghoulish"
goulash (whatever you'd like) to share.
With my crystal ball flickering and
my eyes widening, I can see a glimpse of
something… on Nov. 14 a very special event
"this way comes."
It's… It's… the KARAOKE EXTRAVAGANZA
III, to help Support the Troops. You will be able to purchase
tickets for this event starting the second week of October by calling
Marty at (909) 921-1144. Tickets will also be available for purchase at
the Oct. 15 regular karaoke night. Seating is limited for this Support
the Troops fundraiser and at $10 pp, they won't last long. So mark
your calendars for Nov. 14. Marty will have a flyer coming out soon
with more information regarding the EXTRAVAGANZA III.
