COMMITTEE NEWS | LIFE IN SOLERA | OCTOBER 2021 | 5 LANDSCAPE PERMIT Planning to re-landscape your front or back yard? Remember to pick up a permit in the office. HOUSE NUMBERS Are your house numbers readable? Many numbers are faded or the bulb is burned out. A sharpie, black paint, or new numbers will fix the faded problem. You can check your bulb during the day, as the light is on 24/7. The bulb type is C-94, and can be purchased at a local store or online. Design Review Committee The Solera Board of Directors has recently approved the development of a new Communications And Technology Advisory Committee with the purpose of optimizing communication to and from its members. This committee will be responsible for researching, developing, improving and/or maintaining effective communication media for the community. Such media may include, but is not limited to, television broadcasting, monthly newsletters, email notices, website media, meeting/event broadcasting, social media, 'paper' media, surveys, etc. They will also strive to assure that adequate audio/visual devices, applications, and presentation materials are being used optimally and that there are adequate resources trained to accomplish these tasks. The committee will initially be composed of five members. If you have any communication experience (e.g. presentation skills, website development experience, broadcasting experience, communication technology experience, etc.) and/or have a general interest in serving on this exciting committee, please complete an Interest Form and turn it in at the administrative office at your earliest convenience. The Board of Directors would like to be able to select a chairperson for this Committee so that it can be fully operational by end of year. Interest forms can be picked up at the Administrative Office, downloaded from the Solera website, or completed online at soleraovg.com/volunteer-interest-form. This is a great way to make a major contribution to your community! Communications & Technology Advisory Committee
