The year has flown by very quickly, and the holidays are rapidly approaching. Since our facilities have reopened, many of our clubs, groups, and classes have enjoyed being together again, celebrating the beautiful community we choose to live in. Our Italian American Club met last month away from our Four Seasons community. Barbara Dipoma made arrangements for us to have our meeting at Tuscano's Pizza & Pasta in Yucaipa. She arranged for us to be able to purchase a "dough ball" (actually stretched out in the shape of a pizza by Tuscano employees), and the club members put on their own toppings. Lots of cheese, pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, green peppers, olives, and other toppings were available. No one tossed their own dough so no dough or toppings landed on the ground. Tuscano's arranged for our group to be outside in the patio area where we could be together as a group, and it worked out great. It was a wonderful time for all our members in attendance, and we were treated to a pizza-making demonstration by one of the Tuscano pizza makers. Thank you to Tuscano's for treating our group so well, and to Barbara Dipoma and her steering committee for all the hard work put into making it a great success. Our next meeting of the Italian American Club will be back in The Courts Multipurpose Room on Oct. 14 at 6 pm. You do not have to be Italian to join our club and come to our meetings. Our membership is open to all our residents living in Four Seasons, so put the date on your calendar and plan to attend. We would love to have you visit with us. ~ Barbara Dipoma (805) 377-2616 and Jerry Monahan (951) 212-8898 Italian American Club Kathy Craven adds cheese to her pizza while Kelley Moore gets ready for her hand-pressed pizza to arrive Members share the Paisano spirit over custom-made pizza Tina and Gino Domico prepare their pizzas at the September Italian American Club meeting
