52 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | OCTOBER 2021 We have really been enjoying the eight-week series "How to be an Amazing Daughter of God." The in-class discussion has been so enlightening and enjoyable. So far we have discussed four of the eight topics, which include: confidence, compassion, character, calling, contrition, commitment, and courage. Then, because of the blackout which occurred on one of our Bible study days, we will finish the last of this eight-week series on Oct. 1 with the subject "Christ-centered." (Notice the topics all begin with the letter "C"?) Hopefully these lessons have strengthened and encouraged each of us, realizing we are indeed amazing daughters of God. The last part of September and first week in October we will be showing a movie in the Theater preparing for our next series entitled "End Times," based on the Book of Daniel in the Old Testament. This movie, The Coming Convergence, will be open to members of the Bible Study Group, as well as their spouses, neighbors, and other guests. It will be shown three different nights from 7 to 8:30 pm in The Lodge Theater. This series will be an eight-week series, to finish the 2021 year. On Dec. 17 we will hold our final lesson of the year in the RCN main room, followed by our annual Christmas party, the theme being "Lady in Red." We will have a lovely luncheon, followed by a $10 gift exchange, and other surprises. As you can see, we have a lot going on, and are so looking forward to ending the year on a high note of joy. If you are interested in joining this amazing group of Godly women (who are also indeed amazing), please just come by the Game Room any Friday at 10:30 am and join us. We'll be looking for you! ~ Eileen Gilbert-Antoine, (951) 922-6829 or egcellent@msn.com "Believe…" Women's Bible Study Intercessory Prayer group Greeting intercessors, friends, and neighbors! Join us on the first Monday of each month for prayer in the Game Room at 9 am. While there are many things on our list to pray for, our grandchildren are essential. We want them to grow up healthy and happy. They are the future leaders of this nation. We pray that they will rise over adversity and be women and men of integrity. You are always welcome to come and pray with us, or you may email me and leave your prayer request. You can reach me at eaglewatchwb@aol.com. ~ Cookie Bonner Jewish Cultural Club We would like to thank the filmmaker of "The Yankles" Zev Brooks for visiting us in September and sharing his stories about the making of his film. We had a great turnout for the event. Thanks to everyone who attended. Our next big event is our annual Hanukkah party. The party will be on Dec. 7 in The Lodge. We will be feasting on homemade soups from our community. We will be featuring the Jewish favorite Matzo Ball Soup, and other Jewish traditional soups. We will be having a kosher wine tasting, and a "Fiddler On The Roof " sing along. Watch for more information in the Daily Report as we get closer to the event. And of course, we will have the traditional Hora dance circle. If you attended our last Hanukkah party, pre-COVID in 2019, you will remember how much fun it was. This year's promises to be just as big and just as much fun. Remember, you don't have to be Jewish to attend our events. The JCC's mission is to share our culture with anyone who is interested in learning more about it. ~ Perry Goldstein, perry.goldstein@gmail. com
