This is the last month to play pool
volleyball as traditionally The Courts pool
is not heated for the winter starting in
November. We continue to have a strong
showing of players with play currently on
Mondays and Wednesdays from 2 to 3 pm.

There are two news items to share this month. First, we had a
fantastic red, white, and blue tournament on July 3. It was organized
and planned by our activity queen LynnRae Dupree. She did a
wonderful job! It was a fun, lively, spirited day. There were winners-
but just being there with friends made you a winner.
The next item for this month is the death of our dear, dear friend
Ray Windhorn. He was featured in the September Breeze article by
Julie Stayner. We had a surprise going away party for him in June.
We all wanted him to see our love. He was in the process of moving
into his condo near family when he passed from a blood disease. He
