NEW BUSINESS: • Resignation of Bob Fulton and Jim McGlashan, Access Control & Safety Committee: Accepted with regret. • Resignation of Wes DeHoll, Landscape Advisory Committee: Accepted with regret. • Clubhouse Exterior Wood and Stucco Repair and Paint Project Proposals: Based on the Reserve Study, the Clubhouse and Annex Building are due for repainting. Staff has also identified several major stucco and wood repairs that need to be addressed. Staff completed a detailed scope of work that addresses the major exterior repairs and met with a local Sherwin Williams representative who provided paint and preparation specifications included in the RFP and also identified 6 painting contractors with construction divisions to address the woodwork portion of the project. The scope of work has 2 sections: Section 1 – Major Repairs, Replacement and Preparation: Replacement of wooden beams in front of the Auditorium and near the riser room located on the south side of the Clubhouse, pool building overhang posts and anchor supports, rotted fascia boards, dented drain spouts, rusted air vents, and major stucco wall repairs outside the Administration Office and on the north side of the Clubhouse where the wall is bulging out. Section 2 – Normal/Minor Surface Repairs, Preparation and Paint: Surface preparation, minor surface repairs, caulking, sealants and painting of the Clubhouse exterior including the Annex, trash enclosure, storage shed, pony walls around tennis court, tennis court pergola, pool pump room exterior, pony walls around the pool area and the bar-b-que island. RFP was emailed to the following painting companies: Certa Pro Painters, Empire Works, Painting Unlimited, Pro Pilot Painting, PrimeCo Painting, ProCom Painting. Approved proposal from PrimeCo at a cost of $79,112. Approved $15,888 contingency, with total amount not to exceed $95,000. Funding from Association Reserves. • Approval of Exterior Christmas Light Proposal: Management presented a proposal from California Christmas for exterior Holiday lighting. Their staff and electricians were a pleasure to work with and provided a quality product, so they were asked to provide a quote for the same products as last year. Approved California Christmas estimate #2411 at a cost not to exceed $2,650 to install Holiday lights around the exterior of the Clubhouse and Guard House.
