This is a free BYOB event in the Auditorium with open table seating. Tuesday, Oct. 12. Set sail in Newport Beach as your captain cruises you past magnificent multi-million dollar homes and imparts stories about the celebrities who own them. You'll see Lido Island and charming Balboa Island and, maybe even catch a glimpse of John Wayne's yacht, "The Wild Goose." It's also an opportunity for wildlife watching, including sea lions and a variety of seabirds, so be sure to bring your camera! The remainder of the afternoon is yours to take the ferry over to Balboa Island. There may be nothing more iconic than the island's two famous desserts, the Balboa Bar and Frozen Banana. Lunch is included at Harborside Restaurant. As the name suggests, this restaurant overlooks Newport Harbor making it the perfect setting for your coastal experience. The menu will be grilled Atlantic Salmon, BBQ Chicken Salad or ABC Burger. The cost is $93 per person. Checks only and payable to The Colony HOA.
