The next general meeting of the Art League
will be on Sun., Oct. 10, in the South Clubhouse
at 2 pm. After the business meeting, we will have
refreshments and vote for our favorite piece of art displayed in the
Mini Art Show.
The special guest artist for the day will be the very talented Sharon
Rachal, who will do a demonstration in watercolor painting. She
is a long-time favorite instructor and will be teaching a series of
watercolor painting classes in November at the Main Clubhouse Arts
& Crafts Room.
The classes will be on Mondays, Nov. 1, 8 and 15 from 9 am to 12
noon. The cost for the series is $30 for members and $35 for non-

Plan to attend, bring a piece of art for the Mini Art Show, and bring
a friend or neighbor who might be interested in the Art League.
There were no meetings or classes in September because of the
Art Walk, but at the August meeting, those members who brought
something for the Mini Art Show also spoke about their entry and
their methods, and answered questions. It was a very interesting
program that included many personal stories behind their work.
