40 | SUN LAKES LIFESTYLES | OCTOBER 2021 | If you live alone and would enjoy the benefit of having a daily check on your well being by THE ALL IS WELL group, please register your interest by calling Barbara Searcy at (951) 663-3382. You will be teamed with a volunteer who will get in touch with you to arrange reassuring daily contact. All Is Well Group The Bereavement Support Group meets Sundays in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room from 3 to 4:30 pm. This group is designed to provide emotional support to any resident mourning the death of a spouse, relationship, child, parent, or beloved pet. We gather together as "hearts with ears" in absolute confidentiality in a safe shared place where strangers may become friends. Each of us is unique; our grief cannot be identical to any other, and the way to get to the other side of your grief is to "go through." For more info, call Barbara Searcy at (951) 663-3382. Bereavement Group I can't believe that we are already in the month of October and the holidays are quickly approaching! I will miss children trick-or-treating this month as I do each Halloween. Happy Halloween to all of you! Our next meeting and support group is Thurs., Oct. 21 at 10 am in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. There is no guest speaker this month. This will give you more time for the support group. We are a caregiver support group for all caregivers. We are here for everyone! Don't forget about our program in the Arts & Crafts Room. We entertain your loved one while you are at the meeting! We offer entertainment, games, and fun. We do whatever it takes to keep your loved one happy while you attend the meeting. Drop them off and go on to the meeting. If you have any questions, would like to learn more about Memory Loss, or would like reading materials that we can loan you, call Diane, (951) 769-0130, Doug, (360) 840-5559 or Anne, (951) 845-8700. Remember we are here to help. SUPPORT SERVICES IN YOUR COMMUNITY Many community organizations provide low-cost or even free services.
