| OHCC LIVING | OCTOBER 2021 | 25
Fall is upon us, and our creative spirits are beginning to soar! In
preparation for the season, two workshops will be held this month on the
third and fourth Thursdays from 9 am until noon in the Sewing Room at
our Clubhouse. The project is a very cute ornament that will add to your
holiday decorations!
Meeting again is a joy; we have missed the fellowship that
"togetherness" brings. The Kneedlers and Hookers (knitters and
crocheters) gather on Tuesdays from 4 to 5:30 pm, where you can pick
up a new skill, share, or visit. Tuesday evenings (6 to 8 pm) and Fridays
(12 to 3 pm) several quilters, crocheters and sewers get together for "Sew
& Chats." These gatherings are loosely structured and serve the soul as
much as the craft.
We have a meeting at 9:30 am on the first Thursday of every month
to conduct our necessary bit of business, but mostly we look forward to
"Show & Tell,",which follows the meeting.
As always, there are five sewing machines and a serger available for use
by any member of the sewing club (in the sewing club room). There are
also two different sewing machines available for use by non-members.
If you are interested in participating in our activities and are not sure
who to reach out to for further information, please call Chris Sanderson
(858) 442-1834, or MaryLu Belisle (952) 454-1931 for more information.
Also, please visit our website, lovingly updated by Terri Eckhardt, http://

All are welcome to join us. We look forward to seeing you.
